Upon entering, the warm welcome from the reception staff instantly made us feel at home. The room was neat and tidy, and we appreciated the effort taken for cleanliness.

Unfortunately, the loud noise from the nearby highway disturbed our sleep, making it challenging to get a good night's rest. The breakfast options could also use some improvement.

I loved how convenient it was to explore the Tobacco Farm Life Museum, which was only about 2.5 km away, and Centennial Park just 2 km down the road, perfect for a relaxing stroll after a long drive. the breakfast was awesome and the staff made me feel like a valued guest during my stay.

The hotel was perfect for our family trip, with comfortable beds and great shower pressure. The location was convenient, just a short drive from restaurants and nearby attractions. The kids loved the spacious room, and the flat-screen TV kept them entertained after a long day.

My kids wished the pool stayed open later. It closed early, right when we arrived, which was a disappointment. A later pool closing time would have been appreciated, especially for families traveling with kids.

Decent Stay with Great Dining Options

Enjoyed the stay, especially the fitness center and friendly staff. Grabbed a quick bite at the lovely Italian restaurant nearby. the recommendations were spot on! Tip, check out the pool for a refreshing swim after a long drive.

The staff provided exceptional assistance, making me feel welcome during my stay. The breakfast selection was impressive, particularly the corn flakes, which were a hit. However, the check-in policy could use some flexibility. it was disappointing that despite a sparse parking lot, I couldn't check in early due to cleaning schedules. Also, it was frustrating to find that the receptionist misrepresented her role as a manager and canceled my reservation rather abruptly.

It was a great fit for a brief pause in South Hill with reasonable value. The front desk staff helped me carry my luggage, making me feel safer at night. If you need help, don’t hesitate to ask the staff.

Checking into Best Western Plus felt easy with friendly staff. The room was spacious and clean, making me feel right at home. Loved the comfortable bed and plenty of towels in the bathroom. Breakfast offered good options, both hot and cold. The only hiccup was the bathroom cleanliness. I noticed some grime in corners that needed attention. The hallway did have a noticeable odor that could be addressed, as well. Staff remained helpful during breakfast and check-in. they stood out for their customer service. I’d definitely consider returning despite a few lesser details.
